Grass AI ( $GRASS ) stunts its users with tiny USDC compensation as airdrop!

The Grass Foundation recently released a Stage 2 rewards checker for Epochs 1-19 (roughly Oct 2024–June 2026). It distributes USDC (not $GRASS tokens) based on bandwidth contribution, uptime, and network points. Claims open around July 22, 2026. Many users with months or years of node-running (hundreds of days, multiple devices, high points/referrals) report tiny payouts like $0.3–$5, with some higher-bandwidth setups getting $10–$100+. A ~$3M USDC pool was split across millions of users.

People on X (Twitter) and crypto communities are mostly disappointed and angry about Grass AI's ($GRASS) Stage 2 rewards announcement. This action is a big surprise since users are expecting a $GRASS token airdrop similar to Stage 1.

It is understandable that this action from Grass is not acceptable by users since for the whole long period of 1 year and 8 months of Stage 2, Grass has not disclosed about this change in way of compensation . This kind of action can been seen as deceiving behavior and should not be practiced by a successful and reputable project like Grass. If Grass wants to change the way of compensation, users should be warned ahead of time not after 600 days of hard work.

Users revolt is to be expected. I have no idea what kind of effect is to Grass's operation on the adrupt drop user of user support.
