Grateful to the bipartisan Problem Solvers Caucus for backing my Joseph Dwyer Peer Support Program Act.
As a Naval Academy grad and brother of a Marine, I’ve seen it firsthand Veterans are often best equipped to help one another.
Let’s expand this proven support nationwide.
Through snow and freezing winds, our highway and public works crews showed up and delivered for our communities.
All of Suffolk County and Brookhaven thank you for your dedication and commitment. We remain patient as you undertake your tasks in difficult and historic conditions.

Chairman Jesse Garcia and the Suffolk County & Brookhaven Town Republican Party proudly congratulate the United States men’s national ice hockey team on capturing OLYMPIC GOLD! 🇺🇸🥇
“Forty-six years to the day after the Miracle on Ice in Lake Placid, Team USA once again showed the world what American grit, heart, and patriotism look like on ice. This victory is a powerful reminder of American Exceptionalism — that when our athletes compete with courage and conviction, there is no limit to what they can achieve.
“These hockey teams inspire tens of millions of Americans across generations. From 1980 to 2026, the spirit of perseverance, teamwork, and love of country lives on. I was blessed to witness two of the three Olympic gold-winning games — 1980 and now 2026 — and I can tell you: the pride never fades. It only grows stronger.
“And what a moment for our nation — a clean sweep! Congratulations as well to the United States women’s national ice hockey team for bringing home gold. American dominance. American determination. American greatness.
“This is more than a win — it’s a testament to the enduring strength of our people and our country.
“God bless these champions, and God bless the United States of America.”

Suffolk County Republican Chairman Jesse Garcia Re-Elected for Fifth Time
_________________
Medford, Suffolk County, NY – The Suffolk County Republican Committee proudly announces the re-election of Jesse Garcia as Chairman, marking the fifth time he has stood before the Committee to be chosen as its leader. Chairman Garcia expressed profound gratitude to the dedicated Committee Members and Town Leaders for their continued faith, trust, and support.
“I am humbled and honored by the great responsibility you have once again entrusted in me to lead this Committee for the next two years,” Chairman Garcia said to a standing room crowd. “The Republican Committee Member is, and always will be to me, the First Among Equals. You are the volunteers who knock on doors, circulate petitions, and work tirelessly to ensure Republican victories at the ballot box. Together, we are the heartbeat of our Party.”
Under Garcia’s leadership, the Suffolk GOP has earned statewide and national recognition for its effectiveness at the ballot box. Historic wins—including flipping the Suffolk District Attorney’s Office from Democrat to Republican for the first time in 20 years by electing Ray Tierney in 2021, electing Ed Romaine as County Executive in 2023, and securing a Republican Super-Majority in the Legislature that same year after capturing the chamber majority in 2021 — have cemented Suffolk County as the "tip of the spear" and the "engine of the New York State Republican Party."
As the Committee looks ahead, Garcia reaffirmed a bold vision for the future:
• Protecting and expanding the Republican Super-Majority in the Suffolk Legislature this November.
• Continuing to deliver on promises to make Suffolk safer, more secure, and more affordable.
• Setting our sights statewide on electing a Republican Governor to change the direction of New York.
“Our peers across New York are inspired by our success, while our political opponents fear our effectiveness,” Chairman Garcia said. “But this is just the beginning. Together, we will continue to build on our victories, defend Suffolk County, and fight to restore balance and opportunity across New York State.”
The Chairman's name was placed in nomination by Betty Manzella, the vice chair of the Brookhaven Town Republican Committee and Chairman Garcia's longtime ally and confidant. Smithtown GOP Leader Bill Ellis seconded the nomination, and following Tierney, who addressed the convention, a unanimous vote certified the Chairman's election. All 10 town GOP organizations also seconded the nomination.
Chairman Garcia closed with a message of resolve: “You have once again sent a clear message: You don’t mess with the Suffolk GOP. I look forward to working alongside you for the victories to come in November and for the years ahead. Together, we will write the next great chapter for our Party and our communities.”

I’m co-leading the bipartisan ESTUARIES Act to protect Long Island Sound and Peconic Bay. Clean water and resilient coastlines are essential to our way of life—and our economy. Proud to fight for Long Island’s future!
Suffolk County Police Officers packed Riverhead Court today to face down the defendant that tried to murder PO Joseph Damon. PBA President Lou Civello joined DA Ray Tierney and SCPD Commissioner Kevin Catalina addressing the crowd of officers after.
The $40K SALT cap I fought for means real relief for Long Island families. Middle-class households could see $2,500–$7,500 more back at tax time next year—thanks to the SALT fix I helped negotiate.
Imagine protesting No-Kings Day after Kamala Harris was Anointed the Democrat nominee. No votes, No primary, No questions…This is a lesson in cognitive dissonance.

Fired up crowd tonight at the Suffolk GOP Hangar rally! Our volunteers have been at it for months and, now, with seven days until polls close we’re finishing strong. Lets go!!!
What a perfect way to kick off Italian American Heritage Month!
Special thanks to Suffolk County Legislator Anthony Piccirillo (@picc211) for presenting me a proclamation on behalf of the Italian American Heritage Society of Long Island.
Leg. Piccirillo, a proud Sachem alum and Italian American, spoke passionately about this month's purpose. He also recognized national leadership from the Sons and Daughters of Italy in America.
I spoke to the Suffolk County Legislature with the conviction that we are here for a purpose: to build a bridge, honor the past, and inspire the future. We will never let the dreams of our ancestors die. We are living their dreams, and will advocate and educate on their behalf.
I’m looking forward to so many great Italian American events this month … Two Flags. One Heart. 🇮🇹 🇺🇸
Had a great time catching up with my good friend and partner in government, Suffolk County Legislator Anthony Piccirillo, at a wedding last night. Proud to work with "Pick" for the benefit of our common constituents in parts of Holbrook, Holtsville, and Ronkonkoma. 🇺🇸💪🫡
