@hamthesilly The term is called "lolifag"
It's a fยชggot (derogatory) who is adjacent to the tourist strain of post-covid "anime fan" that only got into the genres they like because they were stuck at home and de-socialized
It's dead because we've let too many strangers turn our homogenous culture/society into a cesspool of "I have no idea who you are, you're not getting close to my kid"
Rant:
Iโm seriously considering opting out of Halloween next year. Not a single kid actually walked my street. Instead, it was just a steady stream of parents pulling up, dropping kids off right at the driveway, and picking them up. A few kids were just in pajamas, and almost no one actually said "trick or treat"they just held out their bags.
I saw a bit of this last year, but this year was next level. Literally EVERY SINGLE KID was in a car. And as ridiculous as this sounds, they wouldn't even walk one house down. They would get back into the car just to have their parents drive them two houses down to the next stop.
Is traditional neighborhood trick-or-treating officially dead?
y'know what, I know what I know. I'm in no position nor do I give a shit about beating anyone with "facts and logic" obviously I've had to start over several times just because I have the reasonable take on most things but don't fight dirty. Lets let someone else carry that torch
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman believes people owning RAM for their own PCs is a waste and instead should be saved for data centers
"Itโs quite terrible to have everyone have a bunch of the worldโs limited supply of DRAM sitting in their own computer."
@Jackaloffing Though the scary thought is if the genuine people came back already, if the majority of the followage was even real. It's really demoralizing
@Jackaloffing I spent 2023 and 2024 sending over 600 appeals and nothing while my friends said (or had proof) of getting their accounts back in like a month
The void is really something. Now you know what I've been saying for years. Nobody seems to give a shit about finding us again
@BasicLogicIQ youtube is doing that thing again, make sure your audience knows the algorithm is already trying to silence you or make you seem irrelevant
@BlackSliverhive Someone broke down an artist's short animation price point and said if scaled up to the length of a tv show, it would be twice as expensive as the most commercially successful anime AoT budget
Researchers have uncovered 6 security flaws in Steam, including 2 remote code execution vulnerabilities that could let attackers run malicious code on other peopleโs PCs.
>One flaw was especially serious, it could potentially let an attacker run code on another connected Steam client without the user clicking anything.
>The researchers also found 4 local privilege escalation flaws that could allow an attacker with local access to gain higher privileges on a Windows system.
The bugs affected Steamโs messaging system and other components. Atredis Partners reported them to Valve, and says the issues have been patched
