La particolarità è che la protagonista, Anna, convive con la MCS (Sensibilità Chimica Multipla), una condizione che conosco molto bene perché ci convivo da 25 anni.
Anche se la malattia è parte della storia, il libro parla soprattutto di amore, speranza, memoria, coraggio e di come si possa continuare a cercare la propria felicità anche quando la vita sembra complicare tutto. Se vi va di leggerlo, mi farebbe davvero piacere. ❤️

I actually think human beings are deeply shaped by the environment they grow up in. Despite being disappointed by people many times, I still believe in humanity. Because sometimes I meet people who remind me there is still hope. The difference is often in the examples people grow up with. If positive models were at the foundation of education everywhere, I think humanity could improve enormously. I don’t believe people are born evil. Behind cruelty there is often pain, suffering, loneliness, or people who never learned how to direct their energy toward something good.

Years ago, because of my illness, I completely lost my eyesight for about a year. After experiencing something like that firsthand, I think losing the ability to see is one of the most terrifying things that can happen to a person.
