I'd like to speak on my cofounder & best friend here for a bit.

My journey with JP started almost 6 years ago. He came preaching decentralization, and I ignored it. I had 3 kids, 1 on the way and great job as an iOS engineer. No time to hear about web3.

As he was interested in the tech side of things, I mentored him on his path to learning to code. Over the years we built for some clients and we had a few web2 projects that came and went.

During this time, we had many team members come and go. Some couldn't preform, some couldn't show up, some did both but didn't have the right vibe or attitude and had to go.

It wasn't until late 2023 going into 2024 when I found the time to allow him to properly show me anything about web3. Because of my wife @degenghosty, we landed on @solana and began participating in hackathons.

Now, we've been working on @SP3NDdotshop for about a year and a half. We've traveled the country, the world, spoken on stages, and won some hackathons with a product that stuck & found some traction.

I'm fully convinced this isn't all because of the product, but rather it's the result of 6 years, grinding together, finding a flow, lifting one another up when the other is struggling to find ground.

Jp and I have had higher highs and lower lows than most married couples, we're 6 years in, and just getting started.
