I was a Conservative, until they abandoned:
- honesty for lying to the Crown, Parliament, and the nation
- decency for corruption and degeneracy
- pragmatism for dogma
- aspiration for “fuck business” and erecting trade barriers against the UK
Conservatives are not conservative
@chilternrailway Read what I wrote.
I was informed explicitly that the wallets were no longer going to be provided.
Full stop.
This may have been untrue.
If so, why did your staff member mislead?
Untrained, themselves misinformed, malice?
I don’t know.
@chilternrailway and they do it again.
Plastic ticket wallets will no longer be provided so nothing to keep a “smart card” and mandatory photo card together.
Bad customer service or cynical ploy to charge penalty fares.
I wonder.
#badcustomerservice#dumbnotsmart
@chilternrailway But are too flimsy to last for, say, a week. Maybe helpful to Chiltern Railways to track usage but v poor for your customers as not fit for purpose as tickets.
No customers no Chiltern Railways or is this “captive audience so don’t care”
@chilternrailway But why the change?
More robust tickets have been available from ticket offices. You now make a change that not only is of no benefit to customers but is actively unhelpful.
One may be forgiven for feeling both messed around and taken for granted. No customers no CR jobs.
@chilternrailway That is kind but raises the question: if you have them why are they no longer to be available at ticket offices?
It would be so much better if you just focused on good and fit for purpose customer service.
@BBCSport why are this weekend’s Champ Rugby play off matches not listed in the BBC website? You’ve got Welsh level 3 games (counting URC at level
1) but ignore England’s level 2.
@chilternrailway … next train another 14 minutes later due to arrive an hour after the train I was trying to catch…
And for this we pay over £5k a year
@chilternrailway
Second day of useless service.
Yesterday the app wouldn’t accept ApplePay… told by ticket office that they knew about the issue.
Today… bought season in app using PayPal… ticket machine unable to download onto Smartcard… again “known problem”…
@chilternrailway ticket office struggled but eventually succeeded in downloading ticket… then couldn’t “activate” it.
Missed train.
Next train 30 minutes later always standing only for 40 minutes into Marylebone… today reduced from 6 to 4 carriages… zero chance of getting on
@chilternrailway great stuff this Monday morning.
First the app won’t work at all.
Then it decides that it won’t accept ApplePay “please check the settings on this app”
Not a triumph of customer service on a busy Monday morning.
@RoyalMail tracked delivery utterly useless.
Misdirected with the message
“Sorry, your item went to Welwyn Garden City DO in error, so we re-routed it immediately. More information will be available as it travels through our network.”

Since then
Nothing
