“This is a humanitarian appeal… increasing concerns about health and well being of Imran Khan… one of the greatest players… increasing sense of urgency around his health…”
- Former England Cricket Captain @Athersmike, speaking at Lord’s Cricket Ground, raises concern for arbitrarily detained former PM and former Pakistan Cricket Captain Imran Khan.

Never give up, no matter how hard life gets, no matter how much pain you feel. Pain will eventually subside; nothing remains forever, so keep going and don't give up. Imran Khan

My father, former Prime Minister Imran Khan, has now spent over 700 days in prison - held in solitary confinement. He is denied access to his lawyers, not allowed visits from his family, fully cut off from us (his children), and even his personal doctor is refused entry. This is not justice. It is a deliberate attempt to isolate and break a man who stood for rule of law, democracy, and Pakistan.
The sons of the jailed former Pakistan prime minister Imran Khan have made a rare public appearance to plead for their father’s release from prison ⬇️ https://t.co/YXJew5TAdK
Below is a THREAD with some shorter clips of the most important messages from my boys’ interview regarding their father’s incarceration.
Please share if you can.
1) His conditions in jail

Oct 7th, when 36 Israeli children inc one infant were brutally murdered, is rightly commemorated. World leaders condemned it, films were made so it would never be forgotten, the Israeli flag was displayed on public buildings across the globe.
March 18th, when 130 Palestinian children were massacred in their sleep, just a mile away, hasn’t even made the front pages. It’s just another day in Gaza.
40 Holocaust survivors/descendants have signed a letter denouncing Met's pursuit of Stephen Kapos
"Any repression of the right to protest is bad enough – but a Jewish 87 yr old whose Holocaust experiences compel him to speak out against the Gaza genocide is quite appalling" 🧵
If Hamas had killed 7 Israelis inside of Israel this week, it would be one of the biggest stories in the world, & all over the US media.
But Israel killed 7 HUNDRED Palestinians this week, including almost 200 children, & yet there's little outrage from our politicians or media.

87 year-old Holocaust survivor Stephen Kapos smiles as he walks into Charing Cross Police Station to be questioned by the Met for his peaceful protest against Israel's genocide in which he commemorated the tens of thousands of children Israel has deliberately slaughtered
Israel recently committed the largest child massacre in its history. The numbers are not reported in the Israeli media, and if they are – it's always minimized | Opinion | Hanin Majadli
