“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
Galatians 2:20

Are they all not making images of Jesus in their own cultural norm?
First we need to understand that Jesus on earth was an Israelite, so what did the average Israelite look like at the time? There was nothing about his appearance that would draw us to him.
Second we need to understand the description of Jesus in Revelation is His Glorified heavenly form: White hair like wool, a bright face like the sun, eyes like fire, legs like burnished bronze and a greenish body (or Gold depending on how you interpret).
Some say he’s “black” because his hair is wool and dark feet, some say he’s “white” because his face is bright like the sun. But then he has a greenish body, so is he mix? Either approach is foolish and still thinking in earthly terms.
Remember, we are all shades of wheat. All cultures are beautiful in there own way.
Yes they will. My question is, how do they get rid of a lot of people at once? Vaporizing with DEW?
Either way, we’ve entered the Great Deception.
Remember, it’s the second beast that deceives the world with signs and wonders. Wake up people, we are further along than most realize.
“And he performs great signs, so that he even causes fire from heaven to come down to the earth before people.”
Revelation 13:13 LEB
@mohameddaughter@african_stream I have no doubt that Jesus had darker skin as he was an Israelite and appeared to spend a lot of time out in the sun. He more likely had brown eyes too, but this certainly doesn’t mean he was a Cushite and had an Afro (as depicted in the picture).
@dom_lucre I get the strange feeling we will see him go in 2025-26. God will not be mocked. There is still time for him to humble himself before the Lord, I pray he does.
Preach the truth brother!
Jesus was more likely born in the spring time. The origins of Christmas (and the original ideology for the Roman Empire) go all the way back to Nimrod. A pig was sacrificed over a tree stump and a tree grew out of the stump. Nimrods spirit (Baal) would visit the tree and bring gifts. Nimrods mother/wife (Ashtarte/Dionysis) would hang testicles on the tree representing fertility.
Funny, I never heard this preached growing up in southern Baptist theology…and we’re not even touching on child sacrifice.
@solitud3isgold3@andrewdonals Right back at you bro. It’s all there for you to search out and come to the truth yourself.
I think the most important question beyond the debate at hand is Do you believe that Christ is King?
Hope you have a Merry CHRISTmas!
Did you just invoke white supremacy?😂
And I’ve lost the debate?
You’ve provided zero scriptures to support your theory.
I provided evidence in scripture that Jesus was of the line of Shem and that Cushites come for the line of Ham. Again, there is a reason we have traceable lineage in the Bible.
And by the way, Jesus was not “white”. Anglos come from the line of Japheth.
Am I to understand that you reject what scripture says? Or do you somehow believe that God was unable to preserve His word?
So your evidence is someone that has dark skin, not necessarily black but could be middle eastern, has leprosy that turned his skin white as snow and therefore it makes the person black by default? Good luck with that bro.
You’ll be surprised when you see Jesus’s face as white as the sun.
If you’re truly a believer I pray you come to understand scripture fully. As of now it appears you’re stuck on Jesus being black.
Rise above the matrix.
If you’re referencing this Rabbi Harry, he is misleading you with statements like “haters will hate”, and “it causes phycological resentments” (for not being on the side of the real Jews.).
This guy has no argument at all
You’re making something of nothing grasping at straws. But then you will just says “haters will hate”
Your arguments are weak.
Leprosy doesn't cause skin to turn white, though it can cause discolored patches or sores that can disfigure the skin. In fact, whiteness is rarely a characteristic of leprosy, and never to the extent that it's a dominant clinical feature.
Like everything else I’ve said, you don’t understand what is mean. When I say “I could care less if Jesus is black” what I mean is that it doesn’t change salvation with the father if he was “black” or “Jew” or “Anglo” or whatever he would be in human form. I actually provided you what scripture says about the lineage of Jesus, do you refute what the scriptures says about his lineage? Do you believe scripture is wrong?
@solitud3isgold3@andrewdonals You lack actual scriptural evidence instead resort to an anecdotal statements.
Please, for all the rest of X viewers, spoon feed me. Help me and those who don’t get it to understand. I doubt you will though, because you have no real argument.
Of course I have questions when you are making a statement of fact with no evidence to back it up.
“The glory of God conceals things, but the glory of kings searches out things.”
Proverbs 25:2 LEB
As you provided, it is our duty to search out scripture, yet you have provided no evidence in scripture that Jesus is black.
And then the scripture you provide is Rev, which shows Jesus glorifies form, which doesn’t say he black. You think it because it says he has hair of white wool he is black? What is it then?
So let me get this straight, you think the description of Jesus in Revelation is the way he looked on earth?
I could care less if he was “black” on earth, you miss the whole point and seem to focus on this as the crux of your argument.
Give me scripture to support your argument.
I believe your proposition is flawed. The image you put claims that Ham is the progenitor of dark races but not negros. Who is it that claims this and why is there a distinction between Kuchites (or cushites) and negros? We are talking about North Africans, the Cushites. Moses fled from Egypt and married a Cushite, we know that she had dark skin because it’s mentioned in Genesis 12:1~. This is the reason the 2 were judged for making fun of her dark appearance. The claim that they were indistinguishable from other races is false. Amos is also referenced: do you think because clans are mentioned this means they are “black”? 2 Esdras and Isaiah 14 doesn’t give any support to your argument. Jeremiah also speaks nothing of “cushites” or blacks. Also, Malachi 3:6 speaks nothing of blacks or Cushites/Kushites.
So you referenced someone who referenced verses that don’t even support your argument and then make statements as if they are true.
Again, I ask, why is it you believe Jesus was black?
If I’m wrong, I really want to know why.
It’s very simply laid out for you in Matthew.
If you think Jesus was white then you are sadly mistaken and anyone claiming he was white is also mistaken. What is “white”? Are we all not shades of melanin? You mean those who claim he was lighter in melanin pigmentation?
More importantly, do you think Joseph married a girl who had heavier saturation of pigments?
What scriptures can you provide to me that indicate Jesus or Mary was black?
“The book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham. Abraham became the father of Isaac, and Isaac became the father of Jacob, and Jacob became the father of Judah and his brothers, and Judah became the father of Perez and Zerah by Tamar, and Perez became the father of Hezron, and Hezron became the father of Aram, and Aram became the father of Amminadab, and Amminadab became the father of Nahshon, and Nahshon became the father of Salmon, and Salmon became the father of Boaz by Rahab, and Boaz became the father of Obed by Ruth, and Obed became the father of Jesse, and Jesse became the father of David the king. And David became the father of Solomon by the wife of Uriah, and Solomon became the father of Rehoboam, and Rehoboam became the father of Abijah, and Abijah became the father of Asa, and Asa became the father of Jehoshaphat, and Jehoshaphat became the father of Joram, and Joram became the father of Uzziah, and Uzziah became the father of Jotham, and Jotham became the father of Ahaz, and Ahaz became the father of Hezekiah, and Hezekiah became the father of Manasseh, and Manasseh became the father of Amon, and Amon became the father of Josiah, and Josiah became the father of Jechoniah and his brothers, at the time of the deportation to Babylon. And after the deportation to Babylon, Jechoniah became the father of Shealtiel, and Shealtiel became the father of Zerubbabel, and Zerubbabel became the father of Abiud, and Abiud became the father of Eliakim, and Eliakim became the father of Azor, and Azor became the father of Zadok, and Zadok became the father of Achim, and Achim became the father of Eliud, and Eliud became the father of Eleazar, and Eleazar became the father of Matthan, and Matthan became the father of Jacob, and Jacob became the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary by whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ. Therefore all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations, and from David to the deportation to Babylon are fourteen generations, and from the deportation to Babylon to the Christ are fourteen generations.”
