Here are the updated lines and bets from my Week 5 Power Ratings. Some of the recommended bets and teaser legs have changed based on power rating adjustments, injury news, and line movements. These may be adjusted again on Wednesday/Friday to account for any significant injury news.

I am concerned that Lamar Jackson will not play this weekend. If he does, there is significant value on Baltimore. If not, Houston +3.5 would be a play.

🏈 NFL WEEK 5 BETTING SHEET 📝

The Week 4 Betting Sheet went 6-3 over the weekend. The betting sheet plays are now 24-12-2 on the season, a 63.16% win percentage!! 💰

For Week 5, there are six bets on the board where I think there’s a significant edge. However, the line is moving against Baltimore at -6.5 down to -4.5 at some spots.

These numbers will be updated tomorrow based on tonight’s results, and on Wednesday/Friday pending any significant injury reports.

2) it was at the ground, but that’s not legal either when it’s in the direction of other people. Discharging a firearm in general without cause is a crime in a lot of municipalities. Bullets ricochet.

He was a young man, not a kid. I’m not absolving the police officer if he lied in his report, nor the witnesses if they did the same. They should be held accountable, same as if this didn’t result in a suicide. It’s a crime to fabricate evidence.

At the same time, what message are you sending young black men?

1) Don’t trust the police or the legal system.
2) The only path to success in life is to become a professional athlete.
3) Don’t take responsibility for your own actions. After all he did shoot a gun in a crowd of people and fled the police afterwards. He wasn’t “lied on” about that. For that he most definitely was responsible.
3) Suicide, or violence in general, is an acceptable solution when life isn’t fair.

I would ask that you consider, while holding others responsible for their wrongdoing, how can we use this as an opportunity to teach others so we avoid similar situations. I’ll ask again - where was his father? Where was his family? Where was his faith in God? All of these things are so important in times of tribulation.

You can come back from false accusations. You cannot come back from death. Period.

These kind of days will happen. I don’t care who you are or how profitable you’ve been. The main thing to remember is DO NOT chase your losses. I will not be adding to my NFL plays today that have already been posted.

Perhaps him getting arrested and falsely accused was. Obviously his lawyer had evidence that would have freed him during the trial. So why did he kill himself? Because he discharged a weapon and ran from police which added to his rap sheet. Where was his family? Where was his father to guide this young man?

@allenanalysis Even if this man is an illegal immigrant, failure to produce a warrant is not legal and I hope he’s able to get some justice. How hard is it to remember the warrant, if you have one?
