I had an intimidating mentor early on in my career force me to physically disable my mouse for a week and use only keyboard to navigate everything on my computer. It was extremely frustrating but the efficiencies I gained in that week are still regularly exercised to this day...

Its been long enough where my memory is a bit fuzzy but I think he did give me a one or two working day grace period to get plugins and apps and such (like Vimperator in Firefox) to make this more possible.
