I think there's a fundamental misunderstanding of 2/2. By rejecting Maruki's offer the choice being finalized is Akechi's, not Ren's. 2/2 is about Ren giving Akechi back his agency, not a commentary on Ren's morality. I believe he would take the deal, if Akechi asked. #shuake
