I really really really enjoyed Saturday Night. The pacing is brilliant, as this movie rarely lets up from the off, and when it does my God it hits. I will watch Gabriel LaBelle and Cooper Hoffman read the phone book at each other: their scenes together here are fucking electric.

Christopher Nolan is the master, and The Odyssey is absolutely outstanding. You must go and see this. Matt Damon gives career best work and Nolan’s script cleverly takes Homer’s narrative but analyses the main character through a different lens: why does he not want to go home?

Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, John Leguizamo… the entire cast understands their characters PERFECTLY, and that includes an unfairly criticised Tom Holland who nails Telemachus’ youthful naivety.
