* @BristolCouncil response to the EHRC consultation on its code of practice for services, public functions and associations *
@bristolgreen councillors repeatedly left the chamber when members of the public raised concerns about this response https://t.co/Pqg3DPd2kM
After July’s @bristolcouncil Full Council meeting I didn’t think it was possible, but with the election of @ZackPolanski, @bristolgreen councillors have grown into even bigger tits.
Readers may recall Children of Transitioners' report into the misogynistic abuse support services funded by Bristol City Council - which included men like our abusers in the supposedly 'women only groups' so vulnerable women self excluded. https://t.co/uaQTW4O10J
We have written to Dame Julia Unwin, chair of the Charity Commission, in a joint letter co-signed by forty organisations, calling for a reset on the culture of intolerance towards gender-critical views.
Charities should lead the way in upholding human rights and the law, not smear those who do.

In October 2025 two data breaches were reported to the ICO by South Glos Council and Bristol City Council.
This article compares how these two Councils dealt with their data breaches.
I won't spoil it by telling you which Council was more open and transparent. You can make your own mind up after reading the article.

I’m often tickled by press articles asserting that I’m furious about things that actually gave me a proper belly laugh. This time, though, knock yourselves out. Amnesty’s attack on Beira’s Place has left me burning with the kind of fury that mounts with every passing hour.
And again:
The @EHRC Code of Practice coming into force on 5 Aug makes not a jot of difference. Single sex toilets should always have been based on biological sex. Self-id was never lawful. The Sup Ct clarified last yr that a GRC doesn’t get you into opposite sex toilets either.
A reminder that these people want to kill women like me simply because I'm a feminist, and because I want to preserve legal single sex spaces for women, free from biological men with male genitals.
A reminder that most Labour MPs would rather isolate and condemn women like me than support us.
A reminder that the *Women* and Equalities Select Committee has never, and will never hold an inquiry on the specific and open calls by men in balaclavas to kill women like me, a member of that committee.
A reminder that, while I am not allowed to walk to work alone, most Labour MPs think that the 'rights' of a few huge angry men who wish to occupy our spaces, and yell "punch a terf" outside my workplace, are more important than women like me.
A reminder that the Labour Party investigated and suspended women like me for liking tweets and championed the mediocre men who actively tried to have us barred.
A reminder that in 2026, this is still very much a world in which a few men are more important to most politicians than all women.
And here's the emails to leader of the Greens Cllr Edwards (she was cheered by the trans activists & evaded the questions put to her) and the email to Bristol Trans Pride.
Great video from Sean here to the disaster that is the modern Pride movement. What I notice in Sean and Menno's videos is that sensible gays only now go to pride to chronical the desperate state of decay its in.

Amnesty got off lightly in 2020 when they signed a letter demonising Irish women who were defending women’s sex-based rights.
And the silence from Irish media and politicians was deafening.
Good to see them getting their comeuppance at last.
They have long fallen from grace.
Go @jk_rowling
You can't foment a political atmosphere where it's cool to stab pictures of MPs, chant for the death of Jews weekly or cheer on trans activists proudly displaying banners depicting how they want to kill women who won't kowtow to their fetish delusions and pretend to be blameless.
The new Green-led Lambeth Council faces many challenges: astronomically high bills for temporary accommodation, acute shortage of affordable housing, adult social care budget black hole, high costs of schools' SEN provision... And #1 motion they're bringing to 1st full council?
