YOU ARE INSIDE À BUILDING, A WELL HOUSE FOR A LARGE SPRING.
THERE ARE SOME KEYS ON THE GROUND HERE.
THERE IS A SHINY BRASS LAMP NEARBY.
THERE IS FOOD HERE.
(what happens next?)
thanks to @VioletHourBar, I was able to introduce a dear friend to Malört without killing their tastebuds…in the form of a perfectly balanced lemon-based cocktail. No goofy-grossout face photo to share! #cocktailperfection
@zoocoup I cursed my entire neighborhood when I was living in the suburbs. no one shoveled more than the strip of driveway needed for their car. At least as a Chicagoan, the only person cursing is me, trying to move my arms after two hours of shoveling.
I am halfway through shovelling the condo’s hardscape -this is my first time shivelling, ever, and I already wish I was back in the Suburbs, where you can choose to not give a fuck about the state of your sidewalks…I hate snow more than ever. #snowsucks
@Death_Bow My mom learned to sew and taught herself how to reupholster the ugly couches dad picked up for the house…she even figured out the piping that goes on the seams and everything. fancy, next to the Milk crate coffee table….
my entire family has Covid for xmas except for me, so I get to have the appetizers and prosecco to myself while watching whatever is on TV tonight and worrying about everyone I love. Have a safe holiday, friends, and be careful, won’t you?
apropos of nothing, I am extremely proud to be the daughter of a succssful working artist, In the throes of a third career in her life, kick ass, taking names, and making gorgeous quilts every single day. I am inspired and humbled by her abilities. #ilovemymomma
@JinksDan It took a few listens, but I am gonna say the Idina Menzel Chess recording is better than the original (despite the original being impressively produced within an inch of its life)
