Was disappointed in Home Sweet Home Rebirth... Loved the game, but the movie completely derailed from it. The game was great cuz of how it highlighted Thai spirits, beliefs, and mythology. Now it's just a zombie flick featuring the spirits/monsters from the game with no context

Yes, all Remastered Editions are now live on both Amazon and IngramSpark (which powers retailers like Barnes & Noble, Indigo, Kinokuniya, and more)!

But here’s what you need to keep in mind:

🖥️ When you buy a book on Amazon, it’s printed only when you place the order. That means whatever is live on our end is exactly what gets printed. So yes, if you order now on Amazon, you’ll be getting the updated, remastered version.

🏬 Bookstores, however, work differently. They buy stock in bulk, sometimes long before the updates go live on our end. So, even though we’ve updated everything on our end right now, retailers might still have earlier, Founding Editions in stock. They’ll only restock (and get the Remastered Editions) once their inventory sells out.

Unfortunately, this isn’t something we can control. It’s just how things work 🙇‍♀️

My recommendation? If you want to be absolutely sure you’re getting the Remastered Editions, buy through Amazon.

However, if you’re a collector looking for the Founding Edition, your best bet is to check retailers like Barnes & Noble or Kinokuniya, as they may still have earlier stock.

For transparency (to the best of my knowledge) and as a side note on why we often prioritize ePubs:
We only receive an average of 4 USD per print on Amazon, versus about 2.9 USD per print through IngramSpark retailers (current prices). This is because of industry-standard bulk discounts, return policies, and higher print costs on the retail end. What we receive is then shared between us and the original publisher.

We used to work on each cover as it came, but now we plan them all as a set 📚 (in this instance, we had to go back and work on them per series).

That means consistent spine titles, color-matching across volumes, and improved alignment... as much as the platforms allow.

Because Amazon KDP and IngramSpark have different printing tolerances, spines will align best when all your books are from the same source: either all from Amazon or all from stores that source via IngramSpark (like @BNBuzz, @chaptersindigo, @KinokuniyaUSA, @tankobonbon, and others).

We’ve done our best to make sure they match within each system, so whether you’re buying from your favorite indie bookstore or online, they’ll look as cohesive as possible 🙏

We have discussed this before in this tweet [https://t.co/AZIeYLGwlU], but we will do so again because it has been a while.

The "extra" five side stories are exclusive to Kakao and available only in Korea, written to celebrate Ten Ways to Get Dumped by a Tyrant's adaptation into a manhwa. We love Scarlett and Charlemagne too. However, just because we want to doesn't mean we can immediately. We do NOT have the licensing rights to translate them.

We asked before (if we could acquire the newly written chapters as well) as soon as we heard about them, and were told that we could ask again after the manhwa finishes.

And we did ask again, last month, but we have yet to receive a response. So, while we are hopeful to get a positive answer, unfortunately, this is something we can't force 😔

We missed you! Did you miss us? I honestly thought no one was going to notice since we have actually put up looots of pre-order listings on Amazon (and liking some of your tweets here and there), but I see YOU looking for ME (and by that, I mean Editio).

There's been a LOT going on behind the scenes and we appreciate your patience with us. I have always been yapping on Twitter/X, so I hope the absence didn't make you feel uneasy.

It's just been a lot... the TikTok ban just when we were about to go at it (and its unbanning), the boycott on Amazon that's really hurting us because KDP is really where it's at, Audittio not getting enough attention as well as we had hoped and us having to figure that out (more on this soon), us currently fixing past newbie publishing mistakes so we can get into bookstores (we've talked about this before and it is still on-going y'all. And that's with all hands on deck), the delay in The Tyrant's Etiquette Tutor Box Set because the original printing company we talked to [redacted], and us reaching out to each and every one who ordered (manually and from the heart, I may add)—but things have started to slow down and settle, and I think we can focus on our socials again (starting next week).

We really could have done better in communicating these things, and I'm really sorry about that. There were just so many fires to put out that it genuinely only felt like it's been a week of us not posting (literally), so I hope you can welcome us back with open arms 🥹
