@oncesu66 Guy is a grown-ass man throwing a tantrum because he got tater tots for dinner instead of pasta. The rest of the family is like yum, tater tots are good too - he’s there flipping plates and throwing food because pasta is his favourite.
@blandCinema This might be true of many on the ACTUAL far-right, but the problem is, too many from the broader left label anything right of centre as "far right" in bad faith. It's at the point now where the label is more or less meaningless.
@LunarMinxDev For me, I feel the lighting in the right panel is a bit too... dynamic/contrasty? Her face gets lost a bit next to the light hitting her upper torso.
Really, a nitpick - looks great - but that's my 2 cents 😅
@YorchTorchGames You're the one turning this into a thing?
Every single post I see you in you're screeching that your waifu is better than their waifu and you're jacking it up to sound like you're fighting some noble crusade or something.
It's honestly embarrassing.
@Sigmamale388483@nekaishi I'm by no means disagreeing.
My message is as much (perhaps even moreso) for the hypocritical left as much as your traditional ists.
@RylesMeta The recurring problem element is always shareholders.
As soon as investors are involved, the focus shifts to the unending (and ultimately unachievable) quest for unlimited financial growth via any means possible.
@SteamInvHelper Stop being obtuse.
You don't need to "fully walk away" to support a competitor. Steam is not a subscription service - they get their money primarily through game sales, and consumers can purchase games from ANY store front while continuing to use any/all of them.
@Grummz Bear in mind this is the man that is trying his hardest to make store-front exclusivity a thing on an inherently open platform and pays developers to remove their products from competing store fronts.
Not excusing Valve of what they allegedly did here, but fuck off, Tim.
@AIEmerging_@Pirat_Nation Not really.
PC is an open platform. You gain a "monopoly" by providing the best service. If you're not the best service, people can and will go elsewhere.
@Tha5ThHorsemon@Techjunkie_Aman False, but putting that aside for a moment; the issue is in the fundamental philosophy:
Windows does to my system what Microsoft wants, and that's often at odds with what I want.
Linux does to my system what I tell it to, and nothing more.
My hardware, my rules.
@Urang50573247@ProperDrashig@CrischarFoxito I think it's more that Nintendo almost certainly has a much more secure/stable parts supply chain than Valve.
When it comes to hardware, Valve are small fish in a big pond. Nintendo have been making hardware at scale for a very long time.
