🚨BREAKING: DHS LIED SO BADLY THEY HAD TO DROP THE ENTIRE CASE AGAINST THE WOMAN THEY SHOT 5 TIMES.

The Chicago woman who was shot FIVE times by a Border Patrol agent during “Operation Midway Blitz”, Marimar Martínez, just had all charges dismissed with prejudice.

Not because DHS wanted justice.
Not because they suddenly cared.
But because their story collapsed under the weight of their own lies.

From day one, DHS pushed a narrative claiming she “rammed” an agent and forced him to shoot.

But then the evidence started surfacing… and none of it matched what DHS told the public.

- Body cam footage contradicted their version of events.

- The agent who shot her, Charles Exum, was caught bragging afterward:

“I fired 5 rounds and she had 7 holes. Put that in your book boys.”

-And the “critical evidence”… his damaged CBP vehicle… was allegedly driven back to Maine by Exum himself for repairs. They let the shooter take the evidence home.

That’s how sloppy, reckless, and dishonest this entire operation has been.

So prosecutors did the only thing they could do when a case is built on lies and mishandled evidence:

they dropped it.
A judge dismissed it with prejudice, meaning DHS can’t refile it even if they try to cook up a new story later.

Let’s be crystal clear:

Marimar Martínez was nearly killed.

Then DHS tried to prosecute her to cover for their agent.

And the moment the truth started leaking, their whole narrative crumbled.

This is what happens when an unaccountable agency lies as reflexively as it breathes.
