Machiavelli writes in The Prince that you should never rely on losing deliberately so that way people will want to restore you. This can only work if literally all other options fail and you lost anyways, and if not they will never restore you.

In other words, letting Democrats win because you hope Republicans will then give you power or because it will cause the system to collapse and then you rise to the top is a really, really dumb idea.

You can tell none of Schmitt’s online critics have ever read a single word from the guy because they genuinely believe the central thesis of Concept of the Political is that politics should be divorced from morality and that nothing matters except rewarding friends and punishing enemies.

“We recognize the pluralism of spiritual life and know that the central domain of spiritual existence cannot be a neutral domain and that it is wrong to solve a political problem with the antithesis of organic and mechanistic, life and death.”

Schmitt quite literally ends the 1932 edition of Concept of the Political with a devastating critique of liberal universalism by pointing out that people naturally generate different worldviews and ways of life. And you can’t permanently escape the possibility of existential political conflict simply by trying to filter the inherent pluralism of “spiritual life” through a supposedly neutral system of rules.

And it doesn’t even matter what kind of rules you try to adjudicate everything through. Any domain (be it religious, economic, or administrative) that’s powerful enough to organize people’s collective way of life will inevitably become the very thing that they fight over.

This is why Liberalism is doomed to failure. It’s also why the concept of the state presupposes the concept of the political. Every attempt to construct a “neutral” system of rules and procedures to adjudicate between fundamentally incompatible visions of the good inside the same nation state will inevitably produce the very existential conflict that Liberals dread.

White identity politics is almost inevitable but the only thing that could destroy it is “one drop rule, 100 percent Bavarian phenotype” autists who want another round of comparing 23andMe results.

No civilization ever has had no mixing, which is why no race has a totalizing purity standard.

For example, a case I am fond of using is Kitty Kirkpatrick the daughter of a British magistrate and Indian Princess who lived as a middle-upper class woman in the turbo “racist” 19th century, admired by turbo “racist” writer Thomas Carlyle.

Victorians did consider miscegenation bad, but no one stopped Kitty from operating in well-to-do Victorian society, marrying a full-blooded Englishman and having many children.

Are mixed marriages bad?

Certainly they aren’t immoral, but they are … dangerous.

Our grandmothers were right about this at least. Mixed marriages have more conflict from the cultural / racial differences, political problems can emerge, more work is needed to make them work. Also mixed race children have well known challenges with identity, which is a bigger deal than modern people admit.

This is why I’ve only seen mixed marriages work (IRL) with a strong religious faith which partially fixes these problems.

So sure, if you think these risks make the endeavor “not worth it” you are well within your rights to “warn people” like our grandmothers did BEFORE THEY GET MARRIED.

But telling off racially mixed people who stick the landing and are integrated within a white family structure despite being (50, 25, 12 ,6) percent non-white is manifestly insane. You are taking something messy that people make beautiful and tearing it into junk.

The equivalent would be a safety nut trying to stop people from sky-diving by cutting holes in their parachutes.

What could possibly come after this? No more pure blood babies will be born, and the only thing left for mixed families to do is to become your literal blood enemies, not that it will be hard to be your enemy when you are pointing fingers at blond blue eyes toddlers and screaming about “100 percent Bavarian phenotype!”
