@KatiePavlich Katie, govt. is not the right entity to be regulating the online world, it's too much concentration of power. But private lawsuits are decentralized, and offer the best way to force "decency" standards on digital media, with juries defining what is indecent.
I've been working on this Catriona Agg problem, and find the solution presented by AndyMath here is incorrect. 1) Can you solve it correctly? 2) Can you point out where AndyMath goes off track? https://t.co/wWjNh805oZ
@GallinPeter My goal in throwing out problems like this is to acquaint geometry-solvers out there with complexity that requires a blend of traditional sketching+analysis plus computation. E.g., Peter G. gets to a 4th order polynomial -- then asks Wolfram Alpha to solve it numerically.
@DrRyanBurnell Re: AGI-level Perception, we'd be willing to submit our online Dataflow Geometry (2D & 3D) learning experience being mastered by high school math students as a training testbed. It requires digesting some 70h of video tutorials, and using a complex geometric GUI.
@samarthpd Your "under the flag" test for birthplace citizenship replaces one vague phrase with another.
Take a look at HR 569. It clarifies eligibility with clearly-understood verbiage.
Also, in regards to which branch of USG defines Citizenship rules, see Article I, Section 8
@jessecordweber Legal question of the week: Madura claimed to the Judge to be President of Venezuela. Will a Hearing be scheduled for adversarial presentations on this specific claim, to decide its truthfulness or lack thereof? Could be a teaching moment.
@JenGriffinFNC JG, those 9 Generals purged in China were actually X--loyalists, and the guy purging them was Zhang Youxia, the military leader of the anti-Xi faction. Xi still controls the state media, and put out propaganda taking credit for the purges to save face.
@MelissaQuinn97 If birthright citizenship for immigrant babies was established in 1868, nobody knew about it. Why wasn't it asserted by any immigrant parents?
Lookup Citizenship by Derivation (for immigr. children). That system was not even questioned until one case in 1898.
@DeniseGGitsham Hi Denise, are you aware of a Dark Web group called "734"? Members lure naive teens in, and then nudge them toward self-harm, to score status points among each other. Would you call this "Speech I don't like"? Is there "Utter depravity we won't tolerate?"
@Sulliview Thanks for interview on KQED Forum. My problem is with news selection. Why was Epstein's 50th birthday album important enough to cover? It was 23 years ago, and private correspondence. What makes it of any consequence in 2025? It's pure dirt digging. Sensational.
@elonmusk The word "hoax" used defensively, inauthentically chips away at credulity. Nobody who has any previously awareness of the Epstein case is buying it.
