Today we're launching an exciting new project: Highlights

Highlights is a syntax highlighter that outputs HTML. It improves on both speed and correctness compared to the existing industry standard libraries.

It's an optional drop-in replacement in Diffs, and it's ready to use today. In fact, it's already powering diffshub․com!

@Nominatiivi @harrisonju sorry the tweet was inexact. it was meant to imply that the actual syntax is parsed rather than just regex matched, but it never makes it to the actual tree phase. the goal is that it’s accurate according to the real syntax rules rather than a close approximation with regex.
