@dimitrov2k This is a low quality settings by default by all infrastructure providers, that overload their servers for max profitability, not giving a s* about users. -hand in hand with shitty Saas developers.
Power datacenter: the case for biomass.
It looks that powering data centers is hitting a serious wall everywhere. That’s why I think it worth (re-)considering biomass power plants
Below, a super high power density steam turbine @Alphaventor0 studied last year (the customer for the design didn’t finally finance the prototype).
@Bencera Give me 3 more months! I’m building AutoAssemble just for that. At some point, I will need to make a short list of people wanting to monitor and grow business lines after having their Saas built from scratch by AutoAssemble. DM if interested.
@the_codewala Seriously? I do think this can be a good idea, but it would require some stack to bring the gigantic effort required. Something Open source that could be deployed easily…
@jacekdziwisz I become very attracted by local AI. Having it served by a compact, silent, “common” (I have a lot of Macs) is a thing for many I think. Everyone having its own AI, carefully customized to reflect his personality, tastes and values really seem to me like the future we deserve.
@MrPotatoHeadUSA But this design is simpler and basically kind of achieve the same performances with readily available components, and -more importantly- is easier to understand for the regulator!
I have seriously been working on that matter and after many iterations have concluded (efficiency, range, noise, safety, sky appropriation, sky congestion, etc.) that optimal aircraft is 10-16 passengers eVTOL. A 8-10 passengers would also work. Too bad we screwed up on team dissents and missed the next fundraising…
@MrPotatoHeadUSA Dune fan base taking action. By the way, might be a winning bet, because this is only technique to transition smoothly from vertical take off to cruise…

The major mistake of the whole eVTOL industry was to jump to early to fill electrical solutions. Hybrid, with synthetic fuel, offers best of both worlds: electrical flexibility and super boost at take-off, clean, long range.
