Definitely sounds like there was some data cherry-picking by the company and that more research is needed. But if patients and their families are aware of the results and pros/cons of using aducanumab, it’s hard for me to say they shouldn’t have the opportunity to try it.
This was like reading a page out of my own heart. Thank you to @ashleymaytweets for so eloquently writing about how moms & dads are forced to choose between their jobs and their families. And kudos to the USA TODAY team behind this piece – https://t.co/ysQKHDvxt4
A weird thing happened to 9 people who got electronic brain stimulators to reduce Parkinson's symptoms. With it turned on, they lost the ability to swim. With it off, they could swim again. It's rare, but doctors are warning patients not to swim alone. https://t.co/VAPvG8FLgu
Being 26 weeks pregnant with a 4 year old at home, I feel this in my soul. Dry shampoo got me through the first half of this week. Great reminder for all moms about the importance of self-care.
Being a new mom is tough, but it's still incredibly important to make sure you still take time for you—even if it's a 5-minute shower: https://t.co/PjOI8DDUF2

I couldn’t stop reading this story. Fascinating article on how technology is changing emergency care in rural America. And P.S. the scrubs do lend credibility, but they are also super comfy 😉

A large study finds that people with stable heart disease from clogged arteries may have less chest pain if they get a stent or bypass procedure, but it won't cut their risk of having a heart attack or dying over the next few years. https://t.co/jbsFOrpizM
A fascinating article by @thewanreport – research shows that suicide screening in ERs can save lives, but hospitals aren’t equipped to help the patients identified as at-risk. Which leaves the question – what next? How do we implement an infrastructure to do the right thing?
Want to be happy and healthy? Make friends. "Your group of friends are better than any drug or anti-aging supplement, and will do more for you than just about anything." Great read by my longtime friend @taraparkerpope. https://t.co/bSuWvAwgmJ
A reporter asks @TonyBuzbee if he was intoxicated during his election night speech. Buzbee says no, and he barely slept for the last week and was tired: "That’s just silly. I don’t have a response to that. ... I rambled a bit. Sometimes I do that." #hounews
Some people are asking strangers on the internet to diagnose their genital sores and rashes -- and getting "wildly inaccurate" answers, study shows https://t.co/lMtLkpDCfi
Most years, nothing would make me happier than a trip home for the holidays. This year? I’m quite happy that I won’t be at the Thanksgiving table to hear all about this drama:
Measles doesn't just make you miserable, it gives your immune system "amnesia," making it harder to fight flu, strep and other bugs. The effect can last for years after you recover, study shows. https://t.co/DpBXlIZHJE
I've been preaching this to friends on both sides of the aisle, and this is why I love Ellen.
"We’re all different and I think that we've forgotten that that’s OK... I mean be kind to everyone."
"When I say 'be kind to one another,' I don’t mean only the people that think the same way that you do. I mean be kind to everyone." https://t.co/8ebZGah6V7 via @usatoday
