WOW: #Giants Abdul Carter says he is not interested in Jaxson Dart’s apology.
“I don't want him to say he sorry. Stand on what you believe in, but it can't be a problem if I stand on what I believe in”
“As long as we have that understanding, it all good”
Abdul Carter says he will only address Jaxson Dart introducing Donald Trump one time:
"Some things are bigger than football, and this is one of those things.
Jaxson is one of our leaders - he's the face of our franchise. He represents himself and what he does, and he represents all of us.
If he chooses to align himself with a man like President Trump, it's my responsibility based on what I believe and what I stand on to not only show my teammates that I'm against that, but to show the world.
That doesn't mean that we have to spread hate. That doesn't mean that me and Jaxson hate each other or we have beef. I sit next to Jaxson every day - we're close, we talk.
As long as we make sure we have the same goal as a team, and our goals align - which they do -that's all that matter.
I just want to move past this."
Today, we remember a legend.
On this day in history, Harambe would have celebrated another birthday. An icon that became part of internet history, American culture, and an entire generation’s timeline.
Tomorrow marks 10 years since we lost him. Ten years since the moment the world stopped scrolling and collectively mourned something bigger than a meme.
He became a symbol of loyalty, strength, chaos, unity, and the strange beauty of the internet bringing millions of people together for one cause: never forgetting Harambe.
Everyone remembers where they were when they heard the news. And somehow, a decade later, his legacy still lives on.
Gone, but never forgotten.
Rest easy to a true patriot. 🕊️🇺🇸

Forever in our hearts.
Juan Soto said he hasn’t been talking to his Mets teammates during the losing streak.
“They’ve been on the road most of the time so I haven’t talked to them”
