Its exactly 9 weeks today since Dandelion arrived with us almost dead. Left to suffer at the hands of the very people who had the knowledge and resources to help him, for over 2 weeks.
Dandelion had an unconventional but successful blood transfusion from his now blood brother Carrots.

Despite reducing the drugs to keep his red blood cells fired up, Dandelion is now still producing the normal range of red blood cells and finally we think he is out of the Danger Zone.
Regular monitoring will continue for the next few weeks as we begin to prepare Dandelion for his next steps.
Today his PCV is 30 and he is almost 2kg.

It's hard to beleive that E.T. went to 🌈 4 years ago.

I used to see her sometimes, always with Red Fred.

She had a problem with walking and he stayed close to her and made sure she didn't fall over.

He followed her to 🌈just a few weeks later.

We will never forget them.

Rainbow Day is this Sunday.

I'm not really sure what it's all about but Pip and David have been busy organising things.

I know that some Followers are going to be visiting the allotments, maybe for the first time.

If you are coming and it's your first time, Betty thinks it would be a good idea if you send her a DM (whatever that is) before Sunday.

I haven't decided if I will make an appearance but I'm sure Maurine will.

He won't want anyone to touch him but he will certainly want food!

I like to sit in the doorway and watch Colin getting our meals ready.

Amanda is still a bit scared of me. I don't know why,

I'm only interested in food.

When I've had my breakfast in the veranda I usually go over to Janet's plot to see if she needs any help with her breakfast.

Betty says I've got a 'One track mind', whatever that is.

They are growing on a tree on Colin's plot.

I think they look weird but some humans really love them.

Rocky was added to our website yesterday. He is available, can you share to help him on his way?

Rocky is a 7 month old male Lab cross Border Collie
He is looking for someone who has experience of the breed and is prepared to train and give guidance to Rocky.
He is good with other dogs and kids, however as he is still a puppy, he can be very full on so any new owner will need to understand this and work with him.
Rocky is very loving and affectionate and loves attention.
He eats kibble and is very happy to meet new people.
Rocky has never really been left alone and may get upset if he is left for too long.
He likes to play with a ball and has travelled in the car but isn’t a fan.
No cats.
Rocky enjoys treats.
