@TomLees02 He is definitely not composed on the ball or strong in the air. He does give 100% but is an erratic defender, small, and seems to cost a goal most matches.
@BarnetFC Interesting signing. A player that barely played for a poor Kilmarnock side last season. Before that, was very poor at Crewe and then loaned out to Kilmarnock. And left with a shrug by Crewe fans - unusual for homegrown players not to make it. I guess he adds squad depth.
@RailwaymenThe A question for the pod.
The day before the Accrington game Lee Bell said "We have to attack the final few weeks with desire and freedom"
This didn't happen. Why?

@StandingAlone77 A Chesterfield win still makes it possible (although unlikely) as we need to win the last 3 and if we did it would go down to the final game.
@Tom_Kural When looking for/approaching investors, the first thing you would try to do is to improve the bottom line. Changing the academy status, staff redundancies and very few new player contracts handed out, with early season ticket sales, are in-line with investment being possible imo.
@GabSutton@EFL Today was meant to be Crewe's easiest game. But playing Accrington away in horizontal rain all day may prove to be the toughest match up for this Crewe side all season. But they could well beat Salford on Monday.
@GabSutton@EFL A dominant win for Crewe at home to a Salford side who showed nowhere near the desire that Accrington did on friday. It should have been more. Karl Robinson's half time subs really took the game away from them and gave Crewe the momentum in the 2nd half.
@RailwaymenThe Every single player was at least an 8 out of 10. Powell has really brought some balance to this midfield over the last 3 games when he has been playing. Keeps us in the mix for another week.
