@JoJoFromJerz No, they’re freaking out that she’s not visibly emotionally destroyed, rather laughing and enjoying herself and time with her family. Living well is always the best revenge.
Pretty sure if the Dem candidate had prevailed the teenage sons of her supporters would have been in the faces of their classmates shouting “Your minutely higher taxes on income over $250K to fund programs that benefit us all, my choice!” So yeah, both sides are the same.
@SethAbramson Put another way, give a monkey $100B and he can swing 6% of the electorate his way. Good governance isn’t profitable, so the left can’t afford $100B…or a monkey.
Hot takes abounding. “THIS policy that drove away THAT group! THAT message alienated THOSE voters!” So here’s mine: upwards of $100 billion bought a 6% swing in one election. It’s that simple. Unfortunately the folks with the $ will try to make sure it costs them $0 next time.
If students want to avoid the long line, there is a nearby polling station that is a 9min walk. Not much of a line. Go to University Lutheran Church at 340 East 15th St. Tempe, AZ. VOTE, VOTE, VOTE!
If you're heading to the polls tomorrow:
Be prepared for long lines.
Bring hydration.
Make sure your phone is charged.
Come with a friend or family member if possible.
Have the number of your state's voter protection hotline on your phone.
If you feel intimidated, threatened, or unsafe, call that number and/or local police (who should already be onsite).
If you arrive by the close of polls stay in line!
We need every vote in every district in every state!
The Senate and the House are as critical as the Presidency and local races matter.
Let's make sure we stick the landing and finish with no vote left undeclared and counted.
Democracy, for the win.
@BillKristol@Fan20Bama Confession: as an often lunk-headed male I thought holding the Womens March on the same weekend as the 2017 inauguration was a bad idea, just pointless venting. Then I heard that every bus & train had people taking names and contact info. There’s a straight line from then to now.
Good morning, Tweethearts! Rise and shine. Bet you can guess what I’m going to tweet about? Early voting! Who’s going to vote today? Send me a pic of you in line TODAY and you win a Sunday Boost from moi! LFG!
For those voters who like to split their vote by tempering a vote for a Democratic President with a vote for Republican Congress members, this is not the year for that. There are no Republicans running who have not actively enabled Donald Trump. We need Democrats working for us.
@InvestigatorCps Totally understandable. Our tolerance was abused and weaponized against us. For me, I’ll give forgiveness freely to anyone who admits putting forward this horrible, unfit man, particularly after J6, was wrong. But sadly these folks don’t do contrition or remorse, so there it is.
There is something special happening around the country that feels very different than any moment or campaign I have ever seen before. And it does not favor Donald Trump. But it is very good for this country. When you have done all you can do heading into Tuesday, do a little more. This is it. We’re not going back.
Multiple Right-Leaning Polls, not revealing methodology, used to boost perception Trump is ahead.
