Had a weird work schedule this week but managed to get the Space Marine half of the Armageddon box built, my BT Castilian painted and grimed and all the base rims on the BTs touched up!

Grimed the Sword Brethren! Left it on a little too long due to a camping trip, but will add some final highlights and details and basing. Should be ready for a game next Saturday at the LFGS!

I have always shielded my boys from the darker aspects of 40K - including most of the Chaos factions, extremes of the Dark Eldar etc. They know they exist but that is about as far as we go. There are enough threats just with the xenos races that they are content fighting Orks, Eldar, Tau and the rampaging Tyranids.

@UrizenOfColchis There are a lot of jump scares, especially at the beginning, which is really cool. The ambiance of the game really sets it up well. The aesthetics and world building are top tier IMHO. As others have said, it is best when played with real people.

So....Bastion is 3DP for Black Templars according to the new updated 40K app. My hopes of running a Bastion/Living Saint or Bastion/Marshall's Household are now off the table. While I weep for plans thwarted, the filthy xenos and heretics rejoice.

Their joy will, however, quickly turn to ash before the Knights of Dorn! We will adapt and overcome and our fury will set the dice aflame!
