@Mark_Raymondo@veve_official Hitting a 1k mint drop was impossible for my group before, but two out of five hit the first logo. I’d say that’s great. I do have one question though, did anyone hit the first logo drop by joining in minutes after the waitlist opened?
@chriscoffee I wonder, did anyone that joined the waitlist after :31 mins manage to score the drop? Anecdotally, my group had 2/5 successes and both of the ones that did hit were really early to join the waitlist. The other 3 were “late” Odds of that if it’s random are about 1:20, I think.
@ihelps0ciety Did you not tweet that you could help people who can’t cash out using veve’s system to cash out in other ways? Did you pay someone off app to give access to merge their account to yours? Or is my memory failing and it was someone else? 🤔
@javiert19253682 We pay the workers regardless of the way VeVe compensates them. Either by higher fees or store prices or market liquidity or whatever. That’s how a business works. This is a non-issue for me personally. 🤷 Or am I missing something. 🤔
@lowmintmick Sorry for late reply, but for statistics you need to ask “out of how many” when trying to figure out odds. Here, for example: are we looking at the last hundred drops? If so, then it’s actually quite likely that the first public mint is reserved in some number of drops. 🤷
@VVechain@PuddinCheeks@dbmmo@ecomi_ @ecomi_rhys But why should they? 😅
I don’t think an empty reserve would prevent any VeVe activity. Is this wrong? I’m pretty sure the code that does a fiat to gem purchase doesn’t actually check that the wallet in blockchain contains enough Omi…
@VVechain@PuddinCheeks@dbmmo@ecomi_ @ecomi_rhys I get the reserve filling part, from circulating supply, but wouldn’t it be exactly the same if all three of those wallets were the same (eg 🔥)? What is the benefit of moving Omi from reserve to vault and burn wallets? Previously that movement fueled buybacks, what about now?
@PuddinCheeks@dbmmo@ecomi_ Without buybacks, what’s the importance of moving Omi between reserve/vault/burn wallets? (Honest question, I haven’t found the answer from the OUP site…) @ecomi_rhys @PuddinCheeks#veve#oup
@PuddinCheeks@SurprisedCat@ecomi_ Also, anyone have an explanation on why being classified as a security would be bad? Aren’t most cryptos that way? Why does ecomi want to dodge that?
