@TPExpressTrains u should know what an excellent crew u had on the train which sadly struck a person at Hunts Cross Station. The dignity they showed and communication with passengers was nothing short of excellent under very traumatic circs.
Quality support from ur fans last night @drfc_official Sang from the whistle to the end, with some humour, and as they headed out to the busses. A credit to the club.
@unitedutilities provided an excellent service yesterday in Stretford. Called them with issue at 1030 and they were here by midday. Professional and thorough. Sorted tricky blockage and cleaned up. Follow up call from them today too 👏👏👏
In the world of sports, our pursuits often revolve around winning cups and leagues, seeking those grand trophies and the glory that comes with them.
However, today, one of our very own, Gene, achieved a victory far surpassing any of these accolades. After enduring two battles with leukemia and six years of chemotherapy, Gene triumphantly rang the bell today, signifying a monumental win.
We are all immensely proud of you, Gene. Your resilience and determination are truly inspirational to everyone at the club. Both your coaches and teammates hold immense pride in your accomplishments.
The fact that you have continued to train and compete throughout this challenging journey is nothing short of remarkable.
When anyone asks why grassroots football is amazing, just show them this ⤵️⤵️
Callum from Heath Rangers Barca U16s has been out of football for 12 mths since being diagnosed with cancer.
He asked his manager if he could play in the quarter final of the cup for 10 minutes today. His manager put him on for the last 20 minutes, and he scored 2 goals, got 1 assist, and also got man of the match.

This is my 14 year old son Charlie ready and excited before he refereed his first match last weekend.
I was very proud of the way he performed throughout the game and didn’t shy away from some difficult decisions.
The best thing was the smile on his face afterwards ready to officiate another match!

This is my son William, he plays as a goalkeeper for an U12’s team. He was born with a rare condition called NF1. However, this doesn’t stop him from loving his football. I thought this might help inspire the grassroots football family that no matter what ever your ability is, you can enjoy football.
