twitter has started forcing eating disorder content onto my tl and the craziest thing ive learned is that the community literally has not updated their graphics since 2014. passing the same 4 black and white tumblr posts around like a blunt
@jzux we only had two sessions together. whenever i’d ask questions back (innocent ones, like “what do you think?”) she would be visibly annoyed and say things like “is this a test?” & “i don’t appreciate you putting me on the spot like that”. ma’am, have you EVER had a conversation??
fr though - i’m so heartbroken for max. imagine driving your little heart out for two seasons now and everything you earn always being called into question thanks to your shifty-ass team.

There ABSOLUTELY are different rules for different people. And for high-profile company representatives the rules involve not posing a risk to the firm’s revenue through your personal brand or behaviour.
He’s not the first or last person to get fired for that.
Carlos will go the rest of his life convinced that ‘one video’ / ‘one tweet’ ruined his career.
That’s not what happened - a very transparent showcase of his inability to prioritise his professional commitments over his personal social media presence did it.
You care so much about the industry, and want to work on building it’s future - but twitter beef is more important than the risk it posed to your continued involvement with the scene? bye then.
