@GWRHelp What time will the train arrive at reading? I have people meeting me in London and need to work out a change over time and arrival time.

@GWRHelp currently on the 10:36 to London Paddington from Taunton. I’ve just seen on the Trainline app that this train is now terminating at Reading and not going to Paddington is this right? We haven’t been told on the train. Lots of unhappy NFL fans trying to get to Wembley!

Been up since 2am with Piper and the only way to get her back to sleep was on my chest. Finally she fell asleep but I realised that this phase won’t last forever as she’ll soon be too big so I just laid there for 15 minutes for the extra warmth and cuddles. Now to pump🤦🏻‍♀️

New experiences you have as a parent…woke up at 2:50 to feed the baby, still up at 4:30am as the baby refuses to go back to sleep. Could be a long night of contact and hopefully a nap at some point 😴

Postpartum treats…after your baby was up at 1am and 4am and 6am but let’s you sleep in and have breakfast in bed at gone 10am 🤩 heavenly!

Day 54: my final day of the year before mat leave has arrived! Such a strange feeling know that I won’t teach a class again until September 2025 but hopefully the start of the next big life chapter! 10th ‘year’ of teaching completed and now to begin mum life! 👶🏻

Day 6: Busy and relatively productive. Discovered that the teaching is the easy part and managing the time is harder - it really does fly! 48 days to go!

Day 5: actually did some teaching today. Maths with year 6 then with year 2 - lots of fun with the year 2s exploring numbers to 20! Finished the day off at choir rehearsal singing uplifting gospel songs. A better day #49togo

Day 4: survived the first weird week! As a reward, MiL and I went to see Six the musical at Theatre Royal - bloody marvellous! #sixthemusical 50 days to go!

Day 3: Made it through a strange day and started a new breakfast club tradition: read to Mrs Rodgers baby every morning 🥰
New lesson learnt: Turns out wearing normal trousers whilst sat at a desk when pregnant is very uncomfortable.

Survived day 2, just. Tomorrow the children start back, except for the first time in 10 years I won���t be welcoming them into my class ☹️ 52 days to go!
