She needed a month hospitalization for medical stabilization- serious risk of cardiac arrest, continuing low HR, need for NG tube because she was unable to eat. We’ll skip discussion on the acute anxiety, weight loss, abnormal labs and other medical complications.

She tells everyone including the parents of the newly diagnosed—we saved her life,she loves us and is grateful for our tenacity to get her well.
