This Diwali, the decision to sell IDBI Bank to a foreign buyer has taken away the joy of this festival from thousands of IDBI employees and their families, as well as loyal customers.

A festival that symbolises happiness, hope and light has turned into a festival of sadness and uncertainty for us.

This Diwali, our homes may be illuminated, but our hearts are in darkness.

आईडीबीआई कर्मचारियों के लिए ये दिवाली है काली, मुनाफे में चल रही बैंक बेच डाली, नौकरी और देश के संपत्ति दोनों खतरे में कर डाली।

IDBI employees had a dark Diwali this year, selling the profitable bank and putting their jobs in jeopardy.

If the proposed sale of IDBI Bank is in the public interest, why hesitate to face an open debate?@SecyDIPAM
We openly challenge the DIPAM Secretary and Government representatives to come face-to-face with IDBI Bank Unions on a LIVE public platform.

@finaware3 @AartiTikka You seems to be speaking on behalf of dipam how do you know they don't have malafide intention in current stake sale because they are not being transparent about it, right to upgrade a bank is not like a luxury car that you can upgrade as per your liking

[pimpandroid @pimpandroid]

@finaware3 @AnuragChandraa Comparison will be done with private peers only selectively ignoring the comparison of pvt bank peers in valuation method to justify lower reserve price clearly sets out the intention of the DIPAM and govt chit bhi meri pat bhi meri jab jarurat pade toh pvt maano warna psu waah

[pimpandroid @pimpandroid]

@finaware3 @AnuragChandraa Dipam secretary clearly said we will not find a buyer it's itself made him or CGD to lower the reserve price but instead of real price discovery through OFS route they chose to sell it by hook or crook, moreover if IDBI is kept under privatised category by RBI since 2019

[pimpandroid @pimpandroid]

@finaware3 @AnuragChandraa Comparing this to HDFC isn't chalk and cheese, it's dodging accountability on public asset price discovery. #IDBIBank #DIPAM #PublicAssets

[pimpandroid @pimpandroid]

@finaware3 @AnuragChandraa No formula for control premiums? Convenient excuse. When initial reserve prices were pegged at ₹94.42 before being quietly revised down to accommodate a single bidder at ₹81 ignoring independent benchmarks of ₹75.99 , it's not a control premium it's a customized discount.

IDBI Bank sale: Reserve price never refixed after first bids, says DIPAM chief

Final nail in the coffin for IDBI they have everybit of justification except being transparent about the process

Apparently, parliamentary assurances now come with a new feature: “Terms & Conditions Apply!”
The Government assures Parliament that its 51% stake in IDBI Bank will be maintained, but now moves towards selling it.
Is a parliamentary assurance a commitment or just a promise that can be withdrawn at convenience?

@WamanCMeshram
An urgent appeal to all SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD associations and unions!
DIPAM's official clarification raises serious concerns about the future of reservation safeguards in IDBI Bank following privatisation.
This is not just an IDBI employees' issue; it concerns social justice and constitutional rights.
