Can a person with a police case against them be barred from participating in a protest? Saurav Das questioned the constitutional basis for such restrictions and asked police to clarify their position. He also questioned what action had been taken against those identified as “history-sheeters”, including whether steps had been taken to seek cancellation of their bail. Das further pointed out that if having a criminal case bars someone from participating in a protest, then MPs and several chief ministers facing criminal cases should also not be holding office, raising questions about the consistency of such restrictions.

Around 35 children fell ill after having mid-day meal at Middle School Parasi in Nalanda.
Kids allege that cook mixed Surf when they complained about it having less salt.

As usual school will deny, kids will apologise for falling sick.

Our scheduled Kolkata Meet-Up at Bharat Sabha Hall in North Kolkata has now been cancelled after the owners received threats from BJP leaders. 6 other halls refused stating massive pressure from the state.

This only reinforces the fact that the BJP is scared from the cockroaches. And while we will indeed miss out on interacting with the lovely Cockroaches of Bengal, we promise to make up for it with a much bigger event very soon.

Most importantly, Cockroaches of Bengal will continue to visit govt schools and push the Bengal govt to get them fixed.
