@donnelly_b@jen_keesmaat Agree these are the probably best new buildings in the city, and Iβd add One Delisle too. But isnβt it ironic that none were designed by Toronto architects? Maple House makes it especially stark, the AA-designed building to the east the two COBE buildings is much much worse.
@bobbyfijan I think it is underrated how much of opposition to new development can be attributed to just a distaste for (broadly construed) "modern architecture"

When calculating YoC is your cost basis 305 or 300M?
@Cobylefko This is mostly a code issue. Single egress buildings arenβt allowed in mot North American building codes, so you end up getting really long buildings that then try to break up the massing in the facade design. Itβs all ass backwards
