Your search stack shouldn't need its own embedding pipeline. Send plain text to the Pinecone Documents API, and one field serves both semantic and full-text search. Pinecone embeds your documents and queries with the same model.

One of the most overlooked decisions in building AI apps: chunk size.

Your documents need to be broken into pieces before an LLM can use them as context. The right size means your AI pulls back exactly the information it needs.

It's 2026. Are LLM hallucinations solved? Not quite. Models only know what they were trained on, and new data never stops arriving. The fix: give your model somewhere to look things up. Learn more: https://t.co/02fpbezzhn

Pinecone BYOC customers can now create indexes in their own cloud account without sizing each one. BYOC on-demand indexes share one pool that holds millions of namespaces and keeps your data spread evenly.

Building search across text, images, audio, and video?

Multimodal search uses vector embeddings to retrieve content based on meaning, not just keywords or metadata. Less manual tagging. More flexible search experiences.

What a great night at #SFTechWeek!

We had an incredible time bringing together AI builders, engineers, and founders for our Agentic Knowledge Happy Hour!

The evening was filled with great conversations, new connections, and a live demo from Joerg Schad, our VP of Engineering, showcasing how to build knowledge into AI agents at scale.

If you want to try out what Joerg demoed, sign up for a free Nexus trial: https://t.co/SI5CeyINHy

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us! We love seeing this community come together.

With namespace aliases, now available in Pinecone, swapping the namespace your app queries takes one API call instead of a code change and a redeploy.

Load and test new data in a fresh namespace, then repoint the alias to it.

Want to use Pinecone, but curious about how it fits alongside your other databases?

Check out this article from @ArjunPatel777 on how to use Pinecone and Postgres (via @supabase ) together, with Pinecone for hybrid search and Postgres for a system of record.

In the article, we show how to build a recommendation system for a snack shop, and how easy it is to sync data between Pinecone and Postgres while simulated LLM shoppers sell out our stock.

ICYMI: Full-text search is generally available in Pinecone Database.

Semantic search doesn't find literal strings well. Query a literal string like part number and all the similar part numbers score about as high as the one you actually wanted, and nothing in the results tells them apart.

Full-text search solves this. BM25 keyword ranking runs in the same index as your vectors. So, exact matches are returned and ranked at the top of the list.

Our support agent resolved 24.6% of tickets last quarter. It now resolves 55.1%, with no human involved.

Same model, same docs. Only difference, we used Pinecone Nexus to compile our account knowledge into artifacts it can query on every ticket.
