The decision wasn't to “promote the murder's message,” explained @EzraLevant, “but because the regime is lying about it.”

Montreal police say three people are dead, including an officer, a civilian, and the gunman, following a shooting in the Côte-des-Neiges neighbourhood. Another officer also sustained serious injuries in the attack.

The gunman, Seth Scott Hatfield, was a philosophy student from the University of Lethbridge. Hatfield opened fire outside the headquarters of Aylo, the parent company for adult website Pornhub, before engaging with police.

Authorities later revealed that Hatfield left behind a 104-page manifesto written weeks before the attack. The document, steeped in 'incel' and radical left-wing ideology, was referred to but not published by mainstream outlets. But Rebel News also obtained the document and published it in full.

On Tuesday night's episode of The Ezra Levant Show, the Rebel Commander explained why making the manifesto public was necessary.

“The media, when they found out his motivations, lied about it,” Ezra said plainly. “That, my friends, is why Rebel News published the truth.”

Reports initially mentioned the manifesto and even referred to certain passages. But the attacker's name was not mentioned, “and during that time his social media was scrubbed, so it could not be seen by the public,” something Ezra said bothers him because he wants to see what the murderer, in this case, had written.

The media referred to Hatfield as being an “incel,” a term meaning a person who is involuntarily celibate. Ezra said he read this reference from many in the regime media, which caused him to wonder why “handpicked journalists” were being given the manifesto.

It also raised suspicions about what the media might not be telling the public. “They want us to think that this terrorist is an incel, but they're not showing us the proof,” he said.

But late Monday evening, Ezra said he too received a copy of Hatfield's 104-page manifesto — and then made the decision to publish it in full.

The decision wasn't to “promote the murder's message,” he explained, “but because the regime is lying about it.”

The attack wasn't purely about misogyny, like so many of the mainstream media's reports suggested. Following Rebel News' publication of the full-length manifesto, Juno News counted 860 references to Marxist terms like bourgeois, proletarian, communism and socialism along with Israel, Zionism and Jews.

“Do you see what I mean? We were told he was an incel,” he said. “He was a communist. Why did all these leaks say he was an incel, implying he was right wing? Why wouldn't they talk about his endless repetition of Marxist language?”

Ezra then went on to detail the numerous lengthy passages in Hatfield's manifesto espousing leftist ideology, including mentions of his positive view of communist authoritarians like Joseph Stalin and Mao Zedong.

2 yrs ago when I had surgery for cancer, the lady in the next bed was visited by a hospital administrator she had not met before, not her doctor, who stood at the end of her bed and said she had no option but to have MAID. The woman said “Absolutely not! I plan to get up and dance again”. The administrator then started to argue with her saying she had no choice but MAID without explaining why. The woman said “Well I’ll talk to my family when they come on Monday.” The administrator replied “They’re coming on Monday? Good, I’ll talk to them”. She headed off the family on Monday before they saw her and they came to our room primed to convince her she had to have MAID according to the hospital. She then argued with the family that she didn’t want it. During the day she was firm but at night when they weren’t there she cried. Ultimately they convinced her and started preparing a party for her to say goodbye to all her friends. So sad. And it has made me more skeptical about MAID procedures.

Local residents say Nova Scotia spaceport reeks of Liberal 'corruption'

Two-hundred million. That's how much money Mark Carney's Liberals just handed an obscure company tied to a Canadian rocket launchpad in the tiny town of Canso, Nova Scotia.

The Liberals say this will help Canada compete with the United States and build a domestic aerospace advantage. But is that really true? After all, the site in Canso is just a concrete slab in the middle of nowhere.

We decided to look deeper into the company involved, Maritime Launch Services, and what we found raises serious questions about transparency, accountability and how business gets done in Canada.

We recently travelled to Canso, flying to Halifax and then driving three hours, to see the site for ourselves. The Department of National Defence is spending $20 million a year over 10 years on the project, while Marine Launch Services actually rents the land from the province for less than $15,000 a year.

It's the craziest thing — and that's why we went to investigate.

What we found in Canso was a town appalled and opposed to this rocket industry. Everywhere we went, there were signs showing people do not want this spaceport — whether it's real or fake.

“We're a small community in rural Nova Scotia, so no one is listened to us,” one local resident who blew the whistle on this story told us.

Suspiciously, Maritime Launch Services was a penny stock until the $200 million investment from the Carney Liberals. Then the price shot up, with insiders making out like bandits.

Even more eye-catching, the government backdated its lease agreement with Maritime Launch Services by a year. This means the federal government shelled out $20 million for nothing.

It seems like a form of money laundering, like a way of funnelling money to friends.

Who are the people who got this sweetheart deal?

“We have about 1,100 people within 5.5 km of this,” the Canso local told us, noting the project was first discussed as a test site for a 127-foot-tall Ukrainian rocket. That rocket was set to be launched just 3 km from her community, “so, naturally we were concerned,” she said.

“I can't outright say it's corruption, I don't know,” she told us. “I wrote the Auditor General,” she added, calling for an independent investigation.

“This needs to be looked at, because it's wrong on every level.”
