@peachysabi no it’s not 💀 that’s why a lot of thai ppl have issues with 2gether tbh it portrays women (unrealistically) as being shallow and boy-obsessed, along with making tine’s friend group objectify women multiple times throughout the series

@chogiwa365 It’s because Thai culture and society have shaped a lot of ppl to believe that those things are ok. Possessiveness and sexual harassment are so heavily romanticized. They’re horrible and certainly should not be normalized, especially in mass media.

but if i could give anyone a word of advise— just don’t buy it. you don’t always have to support or appreciate the source material if it perpetuates wrong stereotypes about lgbtq ppl. the series is ending soon & i heard the translation is poorly done anyway so save your money 😪

i was only made aware of this a few weeks ago since i read the thai version so long ago that i’d already forgotten about it 💀 i was also too young to understand all things wrong with that novel
