The Sandmines story continues...
While Coore & Crenshaw continue to bring Pinehurst No. 11 to life, an exciting new chapter is also beginning to take shape beyond the fairways at Pinehurst Sandmines.
We have officially broken ground on new accommodations designed to complement the experience at Sandmines, including a 26-room Lodge and an expansive 8-bedroom Cabin
So many people make Pinehurst the special place that it is.
Spend a day with the range attendants at Maniac Hill and go behind the scenes to see the work they do in keeping Maniac Hill running:
Let’s hear it for the Bandon High School boys golf team! Fresh off an Oregon 3A/2A/1A district title, they’re now at Tokatee Golf Club chasing a third straight state championship.
Proud of this team and coach Scott Millhouser, our Director of Golf. Good luck, boys!
A few years ago, we told the story of Larry and Frolin at the bag drop of Pinehurst. We miss Frolin greatly, and are so grateful Larry and the guys are still greeting guests every day: https://t.co/GFFrQdql9G
@PinehurstResort I've played there 3 times. I may retire to Pinehurst. Playing Pinehurst is history relived. I remember imagining Ben Hogan walking with his caddy talking and smoking a cigarette. Pinehurst does that to you. It conjures your imagination. Pinehurst is golf's best experience.
@PinehurstResort Honestly tough to explain. We had high expectations going into the trip but were completely blown away. I tell anyone that’ll listen to make the trip and I’m still actively trying to convince the wife it’s a good idea to move down there lol
Hitting into the green side bunker (same spot as Bryson), being nervous as hell in front of the veranda. Being excited as hell for putting it a foot from the pin and enjoying the applause.
Then acting like a Tour pro, tipping my cap and waving.
FANTASTIC finishing scene…it’s amazing.
@PinehurstResort Played 18 one month before US Open in 2024. Stands were set up. Thinking I don’t want to hit approach into those outside dining Ended up hitting into the bleachers. Ugh. Never found that ball. Great day though!
@PinehurstResort Elation. Knowing that I lived a dream and I was completing it. Trying to focus on my next shot while also trying to remember the legends who walked the grounds before me. And gratefulness for @PinehurstResort who allowed me and my dad to play that day for free.
