Lenovo says RAM and SSD prices are unlikely to return to the levels seen before 2025.
During a presentation at ISC 2026, the company said that “higher prices would eventually become the new normal moving into 2030 and beyond.”
Lenovo also said memory prices are “likely never going to return to the original levels or those seen in early 2025,” even as manufacturers expand production.
I pushed myself to go to a garden workshop today and it was so worth it, everyone was so lovely, we harvested and planted veggies, and I took some oregano home and used it in a pasta bolognese
I’m starting to feel a little more alive and I’m truly grateful <3
It makes me so so happy seeing normal, well-rounded people, who don’t sit on the extreme sides of anything, who just want a calm, peaceful, drama-free life
@Jimster4801@jamskins@Pirat_Nation There’s also the fact that the Steam Machine is way smaller and lighter compared to the case/components you’ve picked.
Everyone says “Steam Machine overpriced” but can never actually get a 1-1 comparison.
Do an ITX build with comparable specs, and I doubt it’ll be cheaper.
The discourse surrounding the Steam Machine is funny to me, everyone getting so heated, picking it apart, when they have no intention of buying it anyway, and wouldn’t even if it was at the original predicted price point
