I finally visited the luminous interior of St Giles church, Cheadle, yesterday. The church was built and decorated by Augustus Pugin, who designed the interiors for the Houses of Parliament but made this his masterpiece, to remind England of its churches before the puritans got to them. No pictures quite capture its colour-saturated intensity.

Cheadle, incredibly, makes nothing of this : no signposts, no parking nearby, no easy route from the main carpark in the town. We were the only ones there, barring an elderly lady sweeping the church. Incredibly strange.

On appeal at the High Court, Mr Justice Johnson overturned  Mohindru's expulsion, stating that it "would be wrong to impose the ultimate sanction merely because dishonesty is present".

- what a joke, evidence reads like script from the Benny Hill show.

If a member of public had given this evidence in your court he would be in contempt……yet you practice two-tier justice……

And then you have excellent barristers like Rajiv Menon KC who face absolutely ridiculous sanctions.

Judges it’s time to get your house in order as well………..

Dear @EnvAgency.

In February this year, after 4 years of asking you to look after the Aldersbrook, I led a team of volunteers to do your job for you & clean out tonnes of silt & leaves, as well as hundreds of bags of rubbish. Through the effort of community volunteers & donations, & at zero cost to the taxpayer, we turned a forgotten silted up ditch back into a river again.

Last nights intense rain storm showed why our actions are the very definition of “strengthening water resilience”. A huge amount of rain fell in a short time, but the restored section of the Aldersbrook has been able to hold 100’s of thousands of litres more water, stopping this water running into the Roding, & thereby *reducing* local flood risk. The first photograph below is of the Aldersbrook after the rains this morning- a big contrast to the area before we did the work.

Perhaps more importantly, this water, instead of running straight off into the Roding & hence the sea is now being held in the Aldersbrook & gradually released so it can be used by nature. It is feeding marshes, trees & wildlife, topping up groundwater & helping to reduce our flood/drought cycle. If you want to strengthen water resilience, we need thousands more projects like the Aldersbrook around the country.

So the question I ask you, Environment Agency, is why you are threatening me with two years imprisonment, rather than offering to meet & discuss how we can work together to restore the Roding & its tributaries, which could become a blueprint for you cooperating with local river guardians nationwide?

A GRIEVING MOTHER FOUGHT THE BRITISH ESTABLISHMENT FOR 24 YEARS AND PROVED IT WRONG FROM THE GRAVE

Kevin Williams was 15 when he died at Hillsborough on 15 April 1989. The original inquest ruled every single death happened by 3.15pm and refused to consider any evidence after that point.

Convenient cutoff. It meant nobody ever had to explain why an ambulance never reached him, or whether he could have survived.

His mother Anne Williams was not satisfied with convenient. She had medical evidence suggesting Kevin was alive well after the official cutoff.

South Yorkshire Police had a simpler version of events, one that blamed dying fans for their own deaths and altered statements to fit it.

So Anne spent the next two decades doing the job the police, the coroner, and the government should have done properly the first time.

She set up Hope For Hillsborough, then chaired the Hillsborough Justice Campaign @HJC_Official. She petitioned the Attorney General three times. Over 118,000 people signed her call for a fresh inquest. The establishment's strategy was simple. Wait her out.

It didn't work. In 2012 the Hillsborough Independent Panel confirmed what campaigners had said for years, the original verdicts were built on doctored evidence. The verdicts were quashed and a fresh inquest was ordered into all 96 deaths.

Anne died of cancer in April 2013, two weeks before that fresh inquest began. She never lived to hear the 2016 verdict that all 96 were killed. Liverpool City Region Mayor Steve Rotheram @MetroMayorSteve, who has campaigned for a Hillsborough Law ever since, called her fight a symbol of unbreakable maternal love.

@BBC gave her a posthumous award later that year. A nice gesture, 24 years late.

The lesson is not complicated. One mother with no legal training out-investigated a police force, a coroner, and most of Whitehall, just by refusing to accept a story that didn't add up. If the truth had been told in 1989, none of this would have been necessary. It wasn't, so she made them tell it anyway.

Next time someone tells you to drop it and move on, think of Anne Williams. She didn't, and the country is still catching up to what she proved.

Why are you advising the Scottish public to take any vaccine when you know that in Scotland there is nothing in place to support those who are killed or seriously disabled by any vaccine.

If anyone is killed or seriously disabled by any vaccine in Scotland then they or their family are referred to the UK's vdps which rejects over 98% of all claims.

Why are you advising parents to vaccinate their child under the age of two when it clearly states in the vdps guidelines that you your child has to be two years old before you can claim the UK's vdps.

This is medically ethically wrong and you know it.

This is morally wrong and you know it.
