President Trump just publicly called out Senate Majority Leader John Thune: “Where is John Thune?”

No SAVE Act.
No recess appointments.
No codifying of Trump’s executive orders.

Here’s the record on recess appointments:
• Ronald Reagan: 240
• George H.W. Bush: 77
• George W. Bush: 171
• Donald Trump: 0 (first term and so far this term)

Thune is deliberately running pro forma sessions during recesses to keep the Senate technically “in session” — blocking the 10-day window required for valid recess appointments. As Majority Leader, he controls the schedule. He could open the door for Trump to fill vacancies. He’s choosing not to.

This is obstruction from inside the Republican majority.
