ITT’S HAPPENING: Tap Ride and Go @wmata staff testing underway (no it won’t work for you). Can’t wait to launch credit and debit card tap….stay tuned for more details later this month.
What looks like part of an elevator shaft appears for the elevator to the 96 st C/B station, in the midst of excavation at the SW corner of 97 st and Central Park west
Part of the sidewalk at the SW corner of 56 St and 6 Ave disappears. Presumably this is to make way for the st elevator to the 57 st f station, as renderings showed the elevator in front of the chipotle
@sampeppard@DripRolls5514@realEstateTrent People forget that before screen doors, Korean and Chinese subway stations had fences like the ones nyc is installing.
With that being said, nyc could install them along the whole platform length instead of just a few car lengths (at many of the stations)
The uptown platform at Bowling Red (green) also has markings for platform edge fences. Also shown is another view of markings on the downtown platform.
Platform barrier markings appear on at least the downtown platform at Bowling Red (Green). Doubtful that the fences will be installed throughout the entire platform length, but bowling green is a station that can get very crowded/busy and thus could use them.
