Namjoon giving shoutout to Nas who is at the concert today !!!

"Personally I wanted to give shout out to the artist who had dominated my whole teenage life. Here in New York Big Nas is here tonight."

"it is really wonderful feeling to be able to perform in infront of your teenage idol"

[⁷ @Pk_bts_land]

Funny how this whole situation exposed who really needs who. BTS posted few Instagram lines and carried on, while the grammys have been scrambling for days. Deleting reels and leaving BTS out of the conversation won't erase the group that helped take Asian music global.

[Rize⁷ @rize07addict]

The Grammys didn't feel the need to create any "British Pop" Category when Adele and Harry Styles won ALOTY over Beyoncé,, but immediately separated the "Country Album" Category into 'Contemporary' and 'Traditional' the moment she won over white artists,, and yet we got stans on twitter acting willingly daft

[⋆ @koostrous]

maturing is realising that the grammys do not mean shit and labels literally buy them for their artists

[Absent Ma'am @sleepinginsilk]

this woman who was involved in Asian category creation on her instagram story “we've been torn down by one of the biggest Asian Artists...taking a bold move like this to get more press”. like girl, are u in the right state...? 😭

grammy/recording academy for the first time IN HISTORY responded to an artist's notice of withdrawal from their awards from their official accounts. other artists when they showed their reaction they weren't afraid, but i am sure they deeply felt what kind of loss of reputation a reaction from an artist at the maximum of a global power like bts would create. the number of media outlets asking them for a answer must have crossed the limit that required them to make a statement from their official accounts

When I saw that the Grammys created new categories, I said, "This isn't something to celebrate, but something to worry about. We all know what the Academy's intentions are."
