i truly believe if he hadn’t fell in love and had a change of priorities he would’ve been the type of official who would try ( and probably succeed) to rule a kingdom behind the scenes through influencing a king.
the way i was wondering if she started to love him or just respected him and was grateful for his kindness until she said i love you in the most lanxiang way ever
lanxiang asking jinqi to bow w her three times in the presence of her family bc shes finally accepted him as her husband sorry this might be the most romantic thing ever done #AgainstTheCurrent
I understood this woman from the very first time it was revealed she was deprived of an education despite coming from a well known family and knowing she mush have went through misogynistic shit beyond what was normalized at that time.
If she wasn’t so cruel to servants she would have been a fighter and not a villain.
Agains The Current!
