“I went to an all boys Catholic school in Manhattan, she went to our sister school. When we had school plays, the girls tried out. She was always a lead. She’d sing the national anthem at intramural games. She vibed with a lot of us, and yes, we were all closeted gay boys at the time. Some things never change!”

I saw his Manchester concert video, and he’s very talkative on the stage, but in private life he’s very quiet.” - Haruki Murakami on connecting with Harry and what he’s like after his Runner’s World cover (via @thetimes)
“Murakami shows me on his phone a photograph of the new Styles album, inscribed with a personal message from the musician in stiff, but accurate, Japanese characters. “I think he had been practising,” he says.” - Haruki Murakami on Harry sending him Kissco (via @thetimes)
