@AllisaTavares @HeatherLuvsDuke I agree and believe that this class is important to take in general. I was even talking to my interpersonal class about it and relating things that i have learned from class to another. It has been very helpful this semester. #CMCIC19

@HeatherLuvsDuke I would have to say networking and stepping out of your comfort zone are 2 of the biggest ways to continue to engage in ICC, and learn more about people and the world around you. You're never going to learn anything new if yo stay in the same place you've always been #CMCM19

@HeatherLuvsDuke Yes commincation online is not as personal as speaking to someone and learning about them and their culture in person. #CMCIC19

@HeatherLuvsDuke The popular culture that we let influence us effects our cultures by changing the way that we view traditions and values from our cultures. This is based on the idea that we as a society follow what social media etc. Normalisez or considers acceptable.

@jennart_29 @HeatherLuvsDuke Alot of cultures today are very closed off to who they let in today becsuse of this. Most religions or cultures today you have to be born into because they are so closed off to the world. #CMCIC19

@HeatherLuvsDuke Cultural identity and cultural heritage is maintained through how we share with family and those colse to us. Whether it be traditions, holidays, music, food, these are all things that help us maintain our cultural identity and heritage.

@HeatherLuvsDuke K-pop for example; Korean pop music has become hugely popular over here in the US similarly American pop music has become widley popular in Korea and Japan. Even in YouTube videos from other countries we hear more American music than we do culturally diverse music. #CMCIC19

[Kyle @pinkdrink21]

@HeatherLuvsDuke While each country remains to have its individual languages, cultures, and overall identities, there are things like music, tv, resturants, and even certain ideologies that are becoming too similar #CMCIC19

[Kyle @pinkdrink21]

@HeatherLuvsDuke There is too much that we have here that every other country has as well and vice versa. While there are plenty of differences, the amount of things that we have begun or already do share is too much in my opinion. It defeats the purpose of each country being individual #CMCIC19
