#ROSE:
BLINK, I’ve had so much on my mind over the past few days that I couldn’t write this sooner.
I think I felt especially disappointed as we reached this 10th anniversary that I had been looking forward to just as much as BLINK. It wasn’t because I didn’t understand how the fans felt; rather, I think it took me some time to gather my thoughts and figure out what to say first because I could truly empathize with those feelings.
In the meantime, I feel heavy-hearted knowing that I may have made you feel even more alone. I wanted to leave this message now because I wanted to share at least a little of my sincere feelings with BLINK.
For me too, these 10 years of growing together with BLINK, cherishing one another, and walking this journey together mean so much to me. More than anything, I wanted us to celebrate together. That’s why I hoped that, at least on August 8, we could all have a time filled with smiles and happiness, but I’m filled with regret that things didn’t work out the way we had hoped.
I sincerely want to thank all the BLINKs who came to see us despite this hot weather. I was truly so happy to see you again after such a long time, and I also want to say that I’m sorry.
I’m so grateful and incredibly happy to the point of being overwhelmed that, over these 10 years, we have received so much love and have become people who can give and receive that love from one another. It was only after I came home alone that all of my emotions came rushing in at once. I’m sorry that this message came a little late because it took me some time to collect myself, and I couldn’t bring myself to speak about it easily.
It was supposed to be an anniversary for our BLACKPINK, who have worked so hard for 10 years, and for BLINK, who have given us so much love. We were all very disappointed, but once again, I sincerely want to congratulate us, and I hope we can continue to make many more beautiful memories together. I love you, BLINK. 🩷
