‼️🇪🇸 Four Core Members of Hacktivist Group 'Anonymous Fénix' Arrested for Cyber Attacks on Public Organizations by Spain's Guardia Civil (Civil Guard)

The individuals targeted websites belonging to government ministries, political parties, and public institutions, operating under the banner of the international hacking collective 'Anonymous.'

The group's activity surged following the DANA disaster in 2024, during which they launched a series of attacks against Public Administration websites, claiming the targeted entities were "responsible for the tragedy."

In May of last year, authorities arrested the group's administrator and moderator in Alcalá de Henares (Madrid) and Oviedo (Asturias). More recently, the two most operationally active members were detained in Ibiza and Móstoles (Madrid).
