Final thoughts from the Giants 28-20 Week 1 win vs the Cowboys:
ā¢Welcome to the John Harbaugh era. Bully ball. Physically dominating the opponent. This was why the Giants ran a tough training camp and grinded it out during the summer. They didnāt look like a team not ready to play. They came out with smash mouth football and imposed their will against the Cowboys.
ā¢For the last 3 straight Week 1 games, the Giants didnāt score a single touchdown. Tonight vs the Cowboys, they scored 4.
ā¢The Giants completely controlled the clock tonight. A lot of Bill Parcells type football played. Over 36 minutes of time of possession for the Giants. That will win football games.
ā¢Isaiah Likely will easily become Jaxson Dartās security blanket. Itās why John Harbaugh wanted to bring Likely over from Baltimore and be that clutch player. So many key third down catches to extend drives and continue to chew the clock.
ā¢Jaxson Dart with 3 touchdown passes. Impressive opening game.
ā¢Devin Singletary showed why he deserved to stay and made some really good plays, especially in the passing game. Heāll move up the depth chart that way.
ā¢Unfortunately for Tyrone Tracy, fumbling again might land him in the dog house. Canāt cough the ball up like that.
ā¢The Giants punted once all game. Once. Tremendous job.
ā¢The Giants defense held the Cowboys to 69 total rushing yards with Javonte Williams having 41 of them. The Giants run defense was a massive issue last year. Tonight, it looked vastly improved.
ā¢The secondary had a bit of a rough game. The referees were calling everything. Regardless, CeeDee Lamb had only 44 yards, he did have the one touchdown score, and George Pickens had just 28 yards. Limiting the yards of good receivers like that wins games.
ā¢Maybe call the Steelers and see what Joey Porter Jr. costs in a trade?
ā¢Malik Nabers definitely looks like heās getting his confidence back and looked good in his first game in a year. Jaxson Dart and him will develop a good rapport together.
ā¢The pass rush didnāt get a sack on Dak Prescott. But they brought the pressure and got close several times. Prescott has always been elusive against the Giants.
ā¢Clean game kicking from Dominic Zvada. No field goals, but made all 4 of his extra points. We saw over the years how having a reliable kicker is crucial. For the Giants sake, this is the start of a very long career of kicking for Zvada.
ā¢After losing 9 straight to the Cowboys, the Giants have now won 2 straight vs the Cowboys. Maybe the start of a new streak that favors the Giants.
ā¢The Giants begin 1-0 for the first time since 2022 and win their first Week 1 home opener since 2010.
ā¢John Harbaugh gets win No. 1 as the Giants head coach. Letās see how many more he can get in 2026 and beyond.
ā¢Overall, a great opening night win for the Giants and now, the focus goes to the Rams in Week 2.
Itās over. @RyanGarcia by TKO in 2nd Round. Drops Benn with overhand right in the roundā¦..then finished him. But it was still a premature stoppage. @maxkellerman was absolutely right. Benn earned the right to try and survive. But thatās not Garciaās problem. He did his job!#Congrats!

Iām 30 tomorrow so hereās everything Iāve learned up until this point.
Some of this might be obvious. Most of it probably is.
But if even one person younger than me reads this and it helps them then it was worth writing.
I got pretty famous and pretty rich when I was 18.
I made a LOT of mistakes.
Surprisingly, I have no regrets. Iām not bullshitting.
Everything I went through shaped who I am and somehow everything worked out the way it needed to.
Hereās what I learned.
Exercise. Get outside. Get some sun. Eat well. Love people. Have sex. Build relationships. Engage with your community.
Itās really that simple.
I spent years sitting in front of a gaming monitor, prioritizing money and work over my health and relationships.
I treated my body like shit.
Breakfast? 3 dabs and a few nicotine pouches.
Lunch? Dinner? DoorDash whatever garbage I could order and eat as fast as possible at the end of the day.
That was my routine for years.
I had moments of clarity during my 20s but I always ended up falling back into the same habits.
It wasnāt until I hit rock bottom that I finally took drastic action.
And honestly, thatās another reason I have no regrets.
Sometimes you have to completely fuck things up before youāre willing to change.
One thing Iāve thought about a lot recently is the constant āmen vs womenā discourse online.
I see stories every day about why men donāt need women, why women donāt need men, why relationships are a scam, why love is dead, etc.
Iāve read all of it.
Iām just as chronically online as you are.
But something I donāt see nearly as often is people in genuinely healthy relationships talking about how fucking incredible they can be.
Maybe it just doesnāt have enough shock value to make it onto your timeline.
So let me tell you:
The single greatest pleasure Iāve found in life is growing alongside someone Iām deeply and madly in love with.
The world can literally fall apart around you.
It has for me.
Multiple times.
Very publicly.
But when you have that one person beside you, somehow everything feels manageable.
The long walks. The late-night conversations. Cooking breakfast together.
Laughing at stupid shit.
Having someone who knows you better than almost anyone and still chooses you every day.
A healthy relationship that gets stronger and deeper over time has been the single greatest net positive in my life.
And if thereās one thing Iāll regret when Iām old, itās not spending more time with the people I love.
So for the younger guys reading this:
Let yourself fall in love.
Deeply.
Donāt be afraid of getting hurt.
Be an excellent partner.
Get her flowers.
Remember the little things.
Listen to her.
Make her feel wanted.
Make her laugh.
Make her orgasm, often.
Put effort into the relationship even after the honeymoon phase wears off.
If it doesnāt work out, so be it.
If you gave the relationship everything you had you can eventually make peace with it, heal, and move forward better than you were before.
And if you were a shitty boyfriend and she leaves you?
Learn from it.
Iāve been there.
Donāt turn your mistakes into bitterness. Turn them into growth.
Most importantly, donāt buy into the bullshit that love is dead or love isnāt real.
Love is probably the most real thing that exists.
One last thing:
A lot of you are lacking perspective.
Go volunteer at an elderly home.
Go spend time with disabled people.
Talk to someone who has lived 80 years instead of scrolling through someone who has lived 30.
Youāll realize pretty quickly that a lot of the shit youāre stressing about is completely insignificant.
Your problems might feel enormous when youāre inside of them.
But zoom out.
Youāre alive.
You have time.
You can fuck up and try again.
And you can become a completely different person if you decide you want to.
Maybe Iāll change my mind when Iām 40.
But as of 30 years old, this is what I believe to be true.
Officially unc.
